How do I take a screenshot of a website?
Enter the website address, pick Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile, and click Capture. The page is loaded in a real Chrome browser and the screenshot appears below, ready to download as a PNG.
Can I capture the full page, not just the visible part?
Yes. Turn on Full page to capture the whole scrolling page. Very long pages are cut off at 8,000 pixels so the image stays a manageable size.
What screen sizes are used?
Desktop is 1440 × 900, Tablet is 820 × 1180 (an iPad-sized screen), and Mobile is 390 × 844 (an iPhone-sized screen) captured at 2x resolution. Tablet and Mobile also send a mobile browser user agent, so sites show their mobile layout.
Why does my screenshot look different from what I see?
The capture comes from a fresh browser with no cookies or login, so you may see cookie banners, sign-in walls, or a different region’s version of the site. Pages that need a login cannot be captured.
Are screenshots stored?
Screenshots are cached on Cloudflare for up to an hour so repeat captures of the same page are faster. ToolDock does not keep them in its own storage.
