How to Use the MCP Config Generator

Select the target platform from the dropdown — each outputs the correct file name and format.
Click a popular preset (Slack, GitHub, Google Drive, Brave Search, etc.) to prefill a server, or build one manually.
Give the server a name, set the command (usually npx), and add its arguments such as -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-slack.
Add any required environment variables (e.g. API keys) for servers that need them.
Add more servers if needed, then copy or download the generated file into the path shown in the preview header.
